There are lakes that satisfy several of these conditions where Spirulina can be found growing in the wild.<br>\n        <br>\n        <strong>About our farms<\/strong><br>\n        DIC Spirulina is farmed in manmade ponds using cultivation methods based on photosynthesis. Upon graduating, he studied abroad in the U.K., and received his doctorate degree. After returning to Ethiopia and teaching biology at a university, he moved to California State Universty to teach. He joined Earthrise\u00ae in 1969.
