DIC was the first in the world to farm Spirulina under controlled conditions
ー We have been researching Spirulina for more than 50 years
DIC Corporation (formerly Dainippon Ink and Chemicals) commenced research into the mass production of Spirulina in 1970. In 1977, DIC built the world’s first production facility in Thailand, then another in the U.S. in 1981 and subsequently in Hainan Island, China.
※The farm in Thailand has since been closed.
ー Integrated production ensures peace of mind.
DIC Spirulina is produced through an end-to-end integrated production model. The DIC Group is responsible all the way from cultivation through to the final product, meaning you can rest assured of the product quality. Products are put through numerous rigorous checks at each stage of the process to ensure that we deliver reliable quality.
